Installation

Download the file for your system, then follow these steps.

Windows

Windows 10 (22H2+) or Windows 11, 64-bit.OpenGL 3.3 graphics support.

  1. Save the installer to your Downloads folder.
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup steps for your Windows account.
  3. Launch Sphinixx Format Engine from the Start Menu or optional desktop shortcut. Python is included.

Linux · Debian

Debian 13 x64 (amd64), glibc 2.38 or newer, and OpenGL 3.3 graphics support.

  1. Save the package to your Downloads folder.
  2. Run the commands below in a terminal.
  3. Launch Sphinixx Format Engine from your applications menu.
cd ~/Downloads
sudo apt install ./sphinixx-format-engine_0.8.5-1_amd64.deb

  • Updates Linux to the current Creator tools, connected accounts and live runtime.
  • Adds the Maps popup and recent instance rendering and metrics improvements.
  • Declares Wayland, keyboard and EGL runtime dependencies alongside X11 support.
  • Verified on Debian 13 x64 with Wayland and X11 via XWayland, including graphics, Creator tool imports, worker threads and per-user persistence.

  • Runtime from Creator subsystems now advances and renders the live scene.
